Unparalleled performance and improved efficiency
Gernot Döllner, Chairman of the Board of Management at AUDI AG, highlighted the new e-tron GT models’ improved long-distance potential and performance. “With the e-tron GT models, we are setting new norms for performance. The greater charging power and electric all-wheel drive ensure improved long-distance capability and considerably more performance. The newly developed chassis offers an unprecedented range between driving comfort, ride comfort, and driving dynamics.”

Powertrain and Performance
The new e-tron GT series has permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PSM) on both axles. The S e-tron GT1 and RS e-tron GT2 produce tremendous outputs of 500 kW (679 PS) and 630 kW (856 PS), respectively, while the RS e-tron GT performance3 pushes the envelope to 680 kW (925 PS). This makes it the most powerful production automobile Audi has ever made. The RS e-tron GT performance3 speeds from zero to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, demonstrating its exceptional performance characteristics.

Enhanced Range and Charging Capabilities
Audi has also made improvements in battery technology. The new high-voltage (HV) battery has a gross storage capacity of 105 kWh (net: 97 kWh), and is lighter, allowing a range of up to 609 km. The maximum charging power has been increased to 320 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes at a high-power charging (HPC) station. With Plug&Charge technology, the vehicle automatically authorizes and activates compatible charging stations when the charging cable is plugged in, enhancing user convenience.

Striking Design and Advanced Aerodynamics
The e-tron GT versions feature a modern design that combines beauty and sportiness. The S e-tron GT1 has a unique front end, with a black mask enclosing the totally closed, inverted Singleframe grille.
