Kawasaki Launches 2024 Ninja 300 in India with New Color Options

Kawasaki has announced the 2024 version of its iconic Ninja 300 motorcycle in India. True to the brand’s heritage, this year’s improvements center on new visual aesthetics, including two new color schemes: Candy Lime Green and Metallic Moondust Gray. While the color names are familiar, the 2024 models feature updated designs to increase their appeal. Additionally, the traditional Lime Green trim remains untouched this year.

Evolution of the Ninja 300
The Ninja 300 was debuted in India in 2013 to replace the Ninja 250. Over the last 11 years, the motorcycle has maintained its iconic appearance, with frequent changes focusing on color variations and graphics. One significant alteration in recent years has been the inclusion of a huge pillion grab rail, some might find aesthetically unconventional.

Pricing and Engine Specifications
Interestingly, the 2024 Ninja 300 is priced at Rs. 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom), which is somewhat less than the Rs. 3.50 lakh it was launched for in 2013. This makes the present model a more cost-effective option than when it first launched more than ten years ago.

The motorcycle is powered by a 296cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. This powerful engine produces 38.88 horsepower and 26.1 Nm of maximum torque. It is equipped with a six-speed transmission with an assist and slipper clutch for better gear transitions.

Chassis and Braking
The Ninja 300 is designed around a tubular diamond-type chassis, which provides a solid and dependable structure. It rides on 17-inch wheels with telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock in the back, delivering a balanced and comfortable ride. The braking system features a single disc at both the front and rear, supported by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.

Competition in the Market
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 300 faces stiff competition in the Indian market. It goes up against notable rivals such as the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Yamaha R3, and the Aprilia RS 457. Each of these bikes offers unique features and strengths, making the mid-range sports bike segment highly competitive.

The launch of the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 300 in India brings refreshed visual appeal to a well-loved model. With its new color options and continued reliable performance, the Ninja 300 remains a strong contender in the mid-range sports bike market. Whether for seasoned riders or new enthusiasts, the Ninja 300 continues to offer an attractive blend of style, performance, and value.
