In a recent development in the NEET test cheating controversy, authorities discovered new evidence against five accused Gujarati individuals. According to Zee News, checks totaling nine crore rupees and a pen drive were discovered among the accused arrested in connection with the scam.

Tushar Bhatt, a Godhra-based schoolteacher, is among the accused. Authorities found seven lakh rupees in Bhatt’s car. Additionally, cheques totaling 2.50 crore rupees were seized from the office of Parshuram Roy, the director of a coaching institution. This money was allegedly handed by students participating in the cheating scam.
Mode of operation.
According to preliminary findings, at least 16 students paid Parshuram Roy ten lakh rupees each to have their NEET answer sheets filled up by someone else. Roy encouraged candidates to only answer questions they felt confident in and leave the rest blank. Tushar Bhatt, a teacher at Jai Jalaram School in Godhra, would later complete the remaining answers.
Legal actions
The District Education Officer has filed a case against the accused with the Godhra Taluka Police Station. The complaint accuses Tushar Bhatt, Parshuram Roy of Roy Overseas in Vadodara, and Arif Vora of Godhra.
