Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn in for a historic third straight term on Sunday, ushering in his government’s third term. The Modi 3.0 Cabinet includes a well-balanced mix of veteran leaders and new faces, with 30 Cabinet Ministers, 5 Ministers of State with independent charge, and 36 Ministers of State.

Modi’s latest triumph, however historic, resulted in a lower seat count for the BJP, which won 240 seats in the 2017 Lok Sabha elections, down from 303 in 2019. Despite this, Modi’s leadership remains strong, both locally and internationally.
